Assistive Bank of Loan Equipment (ABLE)

What is ABLE?

ABLE offers people with disabilities and their assisting service providers the opportunity to try out an assistive device prior to purchase.

Procedures

If you would like to try out or evaluate an assistive technology (AT) device before purchasing it, NMTAP can help. The loans are for 30–60 days.

This is all you have to do:

Step 1

View our ABLE Loan Program inventory for the equipment you are interested in trying out. If an item is not on the inventory we may still be able to obtain it; contact us for assistance.
